Lord of the Rings
Bilbo passes on his magic ring to Frodo who takes up the quest to destroy it in the Cracks of Doom in Mordor. Aided at first by the Fellowship (Aragorn, Boromir, Sam, Merry, Perry, Legolas, Gloin and Gandalf) fate divides the companions and they end up fighting their own battles against the common enemy, leaving Frodo and Sam and the wretched Gollum to fulfill the destiny of the One Ring in the very lair of the evil Sauron.
Flippin' fantastic. Really enjoyed it this time around. Loads of great battles and heroic deeds, millions of 'orrible orcs and other nasties and the jolly hobbits win through at the end. Marvellous.
